What is it like to live in Jerusalem? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Jerusalem is awesome, a lot of fun and very interesting.

What is the student lifestyle like in Jerusalem?

Most students live in 3 neighbourhoods in the city center, which makes these areas very alive with a lot of things happening. Student life in Jerusalem is a lot of fun.

How much does it cost to live in Jerusalem?

If you live modest, considering you are a student, renting an apartment. In a good area, should be around 4000 nis.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Jerusalem? Is there any advice you can give?

Not very difficult. Might be a bit more challenging if you don't read Hebrew, because most of the Facebook groups for shared apartments are in Hebrew, but there are also some in English.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Amazing, tons of good and cheap food around Machne Yehuda market - must try "Aricha sabich".

I lived in the area so I'm familiar mostly with it, but there is a lot that eat everywhere in the center.

A lot of good bars in Machne Yehuda market and city center - Helene Hamalka Street, and around "hazard fanfold" square.
