A day of shopping in New Jersey

A day of shopping in New Jersey.

Hello everyone! I am going to tell you about an experience that my family and I lived on one of the days out of the week that we spent in New York. We got up very early and although we were tired from travelling the day before, we wanted to make the most out of the day because as everyone knows, it's not every day you get to spend in the United States of America. We looked online for places where you can buy clothes or whatever else you are looking for at cheap prices compared to Spain. For example to buy some Levis jeans for $30, which is very cheap.

We got in the car and we went outside to New Jersey, where according to the information that we had found online, you can find the best places to buy everything without spending much money. First we went to a gigantic building with three floors. At the entrance on the first floor, you can find a photo of the map of the building and you will be amazed. The first thing you will think, or more so, the first thing you will know is that you are not going to have time to see it all because it is impossible in less than a day. Afterwards, like big families usually do, everyone liked a different type of clothes or simply every one of us has a different taste, so we decided a time that we would meet back here, something very normal.

Personally, I went with my father and we were going into shops like two crazies. The problem was that it took between 15 or 20 minutes to look around each shop, so in the first hour we were only able to look in three shops out of the more than 200 shops that they have there, inside is truly mad! After two hours there you are you are wanting to leave because you find yourself overwhelmed, exhausted, mentally tired and of course you keep on seeing more and more shops. In addition to all this you are out of place...

Let's focus on the clothing itself, a more specific one is the famous 'Levis jeans'. There are jeans in piles, and to top it all off there are only a few people who wear them as most of the American population wear a different brand of jeans to the current ones, however, what I do know is that it's a lot more expensive and better than the Levis jeans. However, as we know here in Spain and I suppose in all of Europe, we consider this brand of jeans a very good brand and it is not easy to acquire since it costs around €80. 00.

When it comes to choosing a meeting point and time, I would not recommend doing so, especially when you can't call the other person via your mobile because the call rates are very high; let me explain why. My father and I told my beloved mother to meet us at a certain time in the Tommy Hilfiger shop and when the time came for us to all meet at the arranged meeting point, my father and I were both there but my mother did not show up. We began to worry as we spent half an hour there and there was still no sign of Mum. What we did not know is that my mother was at the Tommy shop at the arranged time but alas, in another store. Why there were three Tommy stores in that building, we do not know. We ended up using our mobiles and the fee just to call my Mum to locate her was very high. Above all she answered the phone very angry as she had been waiting in the shop for an hour.

We were there from 12, midday until eight in the evening, seeing shops, stores and more stores, clothes, boots, t-shirts, watches, bags and so many other things you can't even imagine. It is true that when you go to a place like this you can not be there 10 minutes and go, because it would not be worth it... but what I do not recommend is to be there for more than four hours because the next day none of us could move because of our sore feet... so you know, go and buy clothes but do so thoughtfully, do not separate from your families and do not spend all day in the same shopping mall because by the end of the day, you will have gone crazy! Bye!
