What is it like to live in Izmir? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's good actually, I feel, comfortable and untouchable. I recommend everybody to live in Izmır.

What is the student lifestyle like in Izmir?

The student life is enjoyable, and there is so much place when you go out the unıversity to central, they have a lot of cafes, malls, parks (like an economy park), and place for during the day, we can have a good time there.

How much does it cost to live in Izmir?

for a month, around 1750 Turkish liras

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Izmir? Is there any advice you can give?

actually, it is quite easy, there are dorms, houses, apartments and it ıs not cost too much.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

indispensable breakfast for students is ''boyoz''. its pastry, the students eat boyoz before going to unıversity in the morning, and nights they love ''Izmır bombası''

What places would you recommend visiting in Izmir?

They should see 'Alsancak, Kordon, Bornova, Çeşme,Buca'.

Is it good to eat out in Izmir? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

They can eat in places where kokoreç is made. :)

Is the nightlife good in Izmir? Where is good to go?

the best nightlife in Izmir is Alsancak and Bayraklı.

What advice would you give future students heading to Izmir?

If you want to feel free, comfortable and happy, Izmır is the best place ın Turkey. You can eat cheap, stay with sea view,fun with a lot of students and also the people are so polite, friendly and kind.
