What is it like to live in Izmir? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Izmir is one of the best places in Turkey. Living in Izmir the coastal city of Turkey is an opportune and most favorable experience in life, specially in summer. I would highly recommend to live there.

What is the student lifestyle like in Izmir?

Very full of fun, enjoying, sports, coastal walks, and mostly a best hospitalize era for international students.

How much does it cost to live in Izmir?

The cost of living in Izmir is very normal, averagely in total you will spend 400 USD per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Izmir? Is there any advice you can give?

It's a tourist city with full of accommodation. There are very property dealer shops around the counties of Izmir, you can arrange an accommodation within two-three days.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food in Izmir is very delicious. There are lots of local dishes like Doner kabab and Turkish pizza. My favorite dish is Tavuk Doner.

What places would you recommend visiting in Izmir?

Konak is a special place for tourist visit, Bostanly is a place of sports and Karsiaka is very complicated and crowded place for shopping. I recommend Alsanjak which is a lovely place for fun, drinks and the upper specified places.

Is it good to eat out in Izmir? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It's very great to eat out in Izmir. My favorite sport is Basketball and It's very wide courts for playing in every spot of Izmir.

Is the nightlife good in Izmir? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is fantastic in Izmir, you can walk to the sea side, having fun with friends, watching live football sport shows on large screens in street hotels.

What advice would you give future students heading to Izmir?

I would say that students should stick on their financial schedules during transportation, use ferries and metro, because taxi costs too much.
