What is it like to live in Izmir? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

İzmir is very comfortable city for the students.Because ,firstly very cheap city.Everybody can easily whereever we want.Transport is very useful and cheap.We use metro,izban,bus,and ship in the izmir.We have lots of sightseeing and historical places like as Efes.Our weather is very good.İzmir is hot city.Sometimes mabe cold in winter and rainy but its not problem.

What is the student lifestyle like in Izmir?

Students are very relax.There are lots of universities.The best university is Ege.Its very big.

How much does it cost to live in Izmir?

We have lots of accommodation opportunities for university and flat.They are cheap and useful.Life expenditures are cheap.We have bazaar and everybody can find it whatever they want.Transportation is cheap,fast food,clothes generally everthing is cheap.life standarts are very good.Dont think İZmir is a small city.Of course İzmir is smaller than İstanbul but İstanbul is very problem city for the people.Expensive and not useful.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Izmir? Is there any advice you can give?

Accommodation is very good.ıf you come ege uni. you can choose student village(öğrenci köyü) and its location is very good.You can go everywhere.And they have lots of activity land shopping center near hear named forum bornova.
If you come 9 eylül uni. you should live own flat.They cheaper and new apartments.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Of course döner and kebabs.We have lots of types but they are the best.But you should find real this one.

What places would you recommend visiting in Izmir?

Efes,Çeşme,Asansör,İnciraltı,Karşıyaka,Bostanlı,Sasalı Zoo,İzmir Enternasyonel Fuarı,Çiçekliköy,Seferihisar,Foça,Gümüldür.

Is it good to eat out in Izmir? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Of course they are lots of places.Konyalı Ahmet Usta.Kartal Kokoreç.Dilek Köfte.

Is the nightlife good in Izmir? Where is good to go?

We have good night life.Alsancak is the best.And bornova küçükpark is maybe alternative for alsancak

What advice would you give future students heading to Izmir?

If you want to enjoy,absolutely come here.Either cheap or comforteble.Lessons are not problem.İzmirs people are very friendly.
