Why did you choose to go to Izmir, Turkey?

Only the izmir law firm picked me in a short notice. I wanted to go to istambul. But izmir is great, much liberal than the other cities of turkey.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

it was three month. 410 euro of a month.not enough, you need 700 per a month if you want to party and travel in turkey

What is the student lifestyle like in Izmir?

i was working in a law firm. Was great, but i do not know about anything about the universities overthere.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Izmir to other students?

city is great, food, party, weather is great

i lived with my coworkers. was great

How much does it cost to live in Izmir?

at least 700 euros a month with spending. 200 euros a room,

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

turkish is hard for a european, i do not know anything about the university courses. lots of people speaks english on the streets, i guess at the university too

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Izmir from your city?

buses, shuttle buses

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Izmir?

downtown is great, and around ege university

not really, the seashore is full of good restaurant
