I simply love this coffee shop! Well I love coffee and I like to find nice coffee shops to enjoy my time there.

Recently I realized that I like good coffee. I haven't drink it for example last year so often like I do now (everyday, almost), and I couldn't say the difference if a coffee is good or it's not. But now I can and I really recommend this place.

The first place I went in Ioannina after I arrived here was this one, People Cafe. I was the first time in the city, trying to find out where things are and I was a bit confused, bacause I forgot my map home of the city. So I decided to go in for a coffee in this place and I simply love it. The place is really nice, has also 2 floors, like ground level and then first level, and of course a terasse. It's not so big, but the coffee place is fancy, cozy and nice. So If you need a good coffee and a place to just enjoy your time, alone or with friends, this should be one of them. So yeah, I got inside and I ordered a cappucino, and trying to find out where things are in the city. While I was waiting for my coffee, I had some flyiers about Ioannina. The stuff of the coffee shop is really friendly, I had a nice conversation with one of the girls, she was a waiterss and I asked her for some tips about the city, where to go what to do.

She explained that this area is in the centre, and close to this coffee shop there are the streets of the most important shops here in Ioannina. So the best place to shop was closer than I imagined. She brought my coffee and like I said in Greece they bring water and also sweets for coffee or food when you order. I really love this so, I started to drink and read about Ioannina.

This place has also free Wi-Fi, so you can also check you notifications, read emails and do your ordinary rutine (Instagram, Facebook... ).

I also love going to coffee shops to read or write something on my laptop for school or other things. I find it really relaxing and I love spending time out.

Here in Greece they have the typical "greek coffee". It's a method of preparing unfiltered coffee. Roasted and then finely ground coffee beans are simmered (not boiled) in a pot (cezve), optionally with sugar, and served in a cup where the grounds are allowed to settle.

I have also tried this greek coffee, but it is not one of my favourite, so I go usually for coffee latte, cappucino, or fredo coffee.

Coffee it's more than just a drink for me, it's a way of treating yourself, relaxing and speding a good time with yourself or with friends. It's the way of sharing things, seeing old friends, conecting with another person, or just do something you like.

After one month and 2 weeks I went again to this coffee shop, to enjoy the sunshine and also to have a cup of coffee. I was in the area and I said, "ok let's drink a real coffee", well yeah. When you like something you'll pay to get that.

For a cappucino I think I paid 3, 9 euro, but I simply love this place and coffee, so it was really worth it. They have really good prices here and I simply love the way they serve it! I'll take my friends next time with me!

Look at this photo, everything looks so good, the coffee, evern the bottle of water looks fancy and it's personalize with the logo of the coffee " People Cafe". I even like they're motto "More people, the better it gets" and it's true. Having coffee with your friends makes your day better! I can say this from experience, it's so nice to just go out for a coffee. Esspecially when it's a beautiful day, like today, sunny, around 23 degrees, perfect!

A short history of "how coffee was discovered" in just a few words:

Kaldi, was a Ethiopian from the 9th century who discovered coffee, by mistake I can say, he just noticed that this goats became so excited after eating the beans of the coffee plant. But the coffee as we know it only appeard around 1671.

This is so cool, I have never though about this before, but many great things that we have today started as an accident. Also like my first day in the city, was kinda of an "accident" that I went in this coffee place, but now I like it and guys if you ever come in Ioannina, I guess you should come and have a cup of coffee at this place.

Nothing is better than a cup of coffee from your favorite place, right?
