Mepaki

Hello hello!

Today was such a beautiful day here in Ioannina. Sunny, warm, 23-24 degrees here. Pefect day to go and spend it out with friends. The city was full of people today because it's Saturday but also because it was a national day. In the centre everywhere lots and lots of people. We reserved a table for 5 persons in the city centre next to the Castle to have lunch at my new favourite place ( I'll write a review soon about it). This place was so full, people were waiting there 20 minutes or more to get a table. The place is not so big, it has around 20 tables I think, but it is so delicious. So we ordered food we enjoyed it and then we decided to go for a coffee. 

Every place was crowded, so we also manage to find a really nice place called Mepaki ( in english is Meraki, because the letter "p" is actually reading as an "r", well if you don't know the alphabet than yeah, you can read as you wish, but I'm happy that now I know the letters). This place is in the centre and the street name is Sakka 12, Ioannina 453 32.  Our greek friend recommended this place and we went here and we liked it.

From the photos you can see that the style it's vintage and it's so cool. It's different that any coffee shops in the area. Colourful and happy place I can say. Because it was a lovely weather today me and my friends we decided to stay out and have a coffee. I was thinking what to order, so in the end I decided to have a fredo cappucino. It was perfect for the weather. They have a selection of teas, coffee, lemonade and other delicous drinks, plus food. I'll attach the menu, because it looked cute :) 

This is what we had, coffes, tea and lemonade different flavours. 

I really like this local coffee shops. Everyone of them are so interesting and fancy. As I said I know that greeks love their coffee and the quality time, so if you combine this two than you have a perfect day. They stay at least 4 hours in a coffee place. I saw that most of them order food, drink coffee, stay there, talk and talk and talk. I like this style, it'a a way of speding you time with people that you like and also having something good to make you happy, like a coffee.

Here is my Fredo Cappucino, yummy! I have noticed that the fredo cappuncino it is so much stonger than the normal cappucino. Relly strong taste, but delicious, and refreshing!

It's the second time I drink this kind of coffee " Hausbrandt" and I like it. 

I loved the place, the style, the coffee and yes they gave us free dessert as I told you, slices of cakes plus free water. I love this three things together, coffe, water, cake.

I loved my friends nails and drink, see how cool is the jar for the lemonade, personalized and it's says "Gia...giamas" (like cheers, but translated "for our health") they say this when they drink. I'll guess the next time I'll buy the lemonade with flavours. They said the drink was really tasty and sweet. So I think is good. The coffee was good also the tea. Everybody was happy about their drink and we loved the place. We will come back for sure.

And this is inside, really vintage, I like it so much. We stayed outside this time.
