Procedure to take admission In India, there are many entrance examinations to take admission in engineering institutes. Basically main entrance exams are conducted by AICTE such as IIT-JEE and AIEEE. Admission process and entry tests are taken across states and universities own. Most states have their own entrance exam. BITS Pilani conducts its own entrance test with names BITSAT. After cracking the IIT - JEE exam, candidates selected through cut off marks and selected candidates took admission in IIT's. According to the reviews of 2012-13 we are here with top most colleges.

The institute has a graduate program which offers doctoral degrees in science, mathematics, technology and engineering. It has 14 various departments of these courses. The institution offers a wide range variety of courses in management and humanities. The institute has separate research and development department for design and developing in various fields.

4. IIT, Kanpur: - Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has got 4th rank in 2012-13 sessions. It was founded 1959 and situated in Kanpur. It has various streams. The institute has many types of council for different activities like presidential, cultural, science and technology council. It is also provided post graduate program. Students take admission through GATE score. The institute has labs with well established and modern equipments for developing technology.

5. IIT, Madras: - Indian Institute of Technology, Madras was established in 1959. IIT Madras offers under graduate, post graduate and research degree and dual degree program. The institute is under control of the Indian government and strictly following CGPA rules. It has a separate research park which is focused on development and research in technology. The institute has 18 hostels which are separate for boys and girls. Faculties are highly educated and taking students in the right direction with their experience. They motivate students to invent new technology and give guidelines.
