I think of myself as a puzzle. I believe that the perfect me spread its bits in different people, and my purpose in life is to chase after those bits and put them together, and probably I will find a complete me, if not perfect. So, somehow, the universe creates plans for us, plans that we find weird and unfair, that end up by meeting « a bit holder ». strange isn’t it ?

Well my bits happen to meet in C5, Iasi, after some people long time ago decided to create this new program called Erasmus, which aimed to put people from all around the world in one place as an attempt towards cultural exchange and you know...

It was in Iasi that I found my lost self. In a way or another, France was able to bring out the sweeteness in me, Italy was so good at finding the mother I am, Korea loved to play with my demons (it was fun), Germany was the blond me, rude and careless, the piece of the puzzle that fits everywhere and nowhere at the same time ; and Portugal ? Portugal… Oh my Lord… Portugal was the best of me. Who said that I might finish the puzzle out of Tunisia ?

All together, we were enough to be as close to perfect as possible. we were this magical creation of the universe, the perfect matching of atoms. You know the lovebirds ? In french they’re referred to as les inséparables, the « unseparable ».. Wonderful isn’t it ?  the name comes from the parrots' strong, monogamous pair bonding and the long periods which paired birds spend sitting together. Lovebirds live in small flocks. We flocked together, didn’t we ?

Well people, love birds are not only couples, lovebirds are friends whose existence depends on one another. I don’t know who I am without my C5 people. We are one soul split into different bodies, and those different bodies were split into different countries, and the countries in themselves where split into different continents. and yet, we find our ways back to each others the way the butterfly turns back to fire.
