The city is very beautiful and the people are warm and pleasant. I would definitely recommend visiting once since it has a great history and it is one of the best cities in Romania.

Iași is often called a "student city" because, from October to June-July, it swarms with students from many old and prestigious universities and faculties. Students will feel quite like home inside the city.

For the average student, it is affordable to go and eat or drink something out in the town a few times a week. The living costs are not that high.

It may be a little difficult, depending on the period when you are searching. My advice would be to search for a flat in the summertime, when most of the students are home, in their summer break.

Romanian cuisine is excellent. I'm sure you will like many things from the restaurants.

The Palace of Culture is one of Iași's highlights. Also, the Botanical Garden is very beautiful, but there are really many amazing places that need to be discovered by newcomers.
