Iasi is a beautiful city. I like the University area because there are many students and there is a pleasant atmosphere. There are many beautiful cafes, place for walking and other entertainment options.

What is the student lifestyle like in Iasi?

The most important university is Alexandru Ioan Cuza. In area of this University are always a lot of students. In general student life is interesting. Students are a lot of options to entertaine. Also are a lot of foreign students from different countries.

How much does it cost to live in Iasi?

For food I think 100-15o euro are enough. To rent a apartment: 100-200 euro. Tt depends of student style.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Iasi? Is there any advice you can give?

I think is not difficult. There are a lot of dormitories available and for foreign students and also for them it is not expensive to rent an apartment.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is good. I like the canteens of University. In general in Iasi are a lot of restaurants when you can eat. Mamaliga and mici are my favorites dishes.

Food is good and so expensive. For the beggining it is ok to try the food from canteens and after that

There are a lot of night clubs and cafes so a student could have an active nightlife in Iasi.

What advice would you give future students heading to Iasi?

My advice is to be careful when walking at night. It is better not to walk alone.
