Why did you choose to go to Iași, Romania?

I wanted to start my Europe trip with small and cute city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarchip was 2 months long and i received about 300-400 euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Iași?

A lot of historical buildings, cute coffeshops, churhcs and a lot of erasmus students. I joined lots of parties.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Iași to other students?

Yes. İf you want friendly people, being near to the center and discover this cute city you must come.

What is the food like?

You can find everything you want in Iași.

How much does it cost to live in Iași?

It depends. If you want to stay in Hostel, usually 9 euros per night but erasmus students stay longtime then there are discounts. Apartments cheaper than hostels.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I'm a trainee so I don't know, but young people and students know english very well. It is easy to improve yourself.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Iași from your city?

From Istanbul, people go to Bucharest first and from there to Iași. Usually by plane or train. It is about prices. I advise going to Bucharest by plane and from Bucharest to Iași by train.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Iași?

I'd recommend visiting the Underground, La Baza and Copou Park.
