Why did you choose to go to Huelva, Spain?

Because the Universidad de Huelva and my home university in Morocco have signed a convention which stipulate that for 5 years, they will have exchange programs.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

La Universidad de Huelva helped me with 5000€ and I received 4000 until now, the other 1000 will be sent when I pass all my exams.

What is the student lifestyle like in Huelva?

A normal Erasmus life, studies, some parties and travels, the living here in Huelva is peaceful and quiet.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Huelva to other students?

For sure! For all the Erasmus students who will arrive, the people here are so kind and they help you for everything, but just one thing to avoid is Housing Huelva, I trusted them and they robbed me 300€ I'm still waiting for it, and unfortunately I know that I will never see my money.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Huelva?

When I came in Huelva I didn't know nothing about the city, so I went to Housing Huelva, they found a house for me, but we had some problems with my flatmates and police, so they took us out of the flat and they didn't want to give us our money (deposit and rent) because we stayed there for 3 days. But now I find a flat next la merced, for 150€ per month.

How much does it cost to live in Huelva?

Per month, 400€ are enough to have a good life in Huelva.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

We, Erasmus people, had the choice to study in English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Huelva from your city?

Ferry, and then blablacar from Algeciras (or tarifa) to Sevilla and then Sevilla - Huelva.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Huelva?

Red Lion, Sala Lone, Sala Ego, Saxo, Lone Star, 100 Chupitos, Theatre.
