Huelvaaa...

I didn't expect that I would have so much fun. It's my last days here and I don't want to leave... Huelva city is one of the most appropriate cities to be as an erasmus student.

Even though it is not a town where you are going to enjoy sightseeing, it offers many more things to do instead. I've been here for the 2nd semester 2009-2010 and I was lucky because the weather rocked... sunshiiine. We've been going to the beach since March (Punta Umbría-Atlantic Ocean-wonderful). Furthermore, since I hadn't been abroad ever before for a long time, here I had the opportunity to know about any kind of ceremonies and customs they have here (Holy Week, "Feria de San Juan", Pilgrimage to "El Rocío").

Chapter Party: what to mention about this section... partying every night, erasmus nights from Tuesday to Friday, the rest of nights at students' flats, "botellón" on the streets, variety of bars. As I mentioned before, Huelva is not a town where you can enjoy sightseeing. For this reason, students have the opportunity to travel in Andalucía: Córdoba, Sevilla, Málaga, Cádiz, Jerez or Portugal and anywhere you can imagine. For sure, there is plenty of time to travel while you are erasmus.

Huelva is famous for its shrimps and generally for seafood and fish, so lovers of this category will not be disappointed at all. There are places where you can have the taste of many different kinds of tapas (beloved ones). Generally, food and drinks are very cheap. This the last thing that erasmus students should worry about here as well as the prices of the flats. This means that, even in the centre, you can definitely afford a room! Last but not least, the transport here is organised very well so it can be convenient for citizens to go wherever they are willing to.

I strongly recommend students who want to come here, do not think twice! Get the chance at once!

Erasmus spirit in Huelva!
