Ho Chi Minh City - The Pearl of Indochina ( part 1)

Saigon is in two rainy and sunny seasons. It does not suffer from big water, it is not as stable as the West, it is flooded, it does not sleep through the night like the Central. Winter, the burning heat, the tunnel of the northern summer. The weather as well as the people here: comfortable, simple, sometimes a little lyrical, romantic, this is a relief of the mind between life market.

I find it very fortunate that Saigon is really a worthwhile place to experience. I went to Saigon to experience love life, love Saigon people. Openness, open-mindedness, and open-mindedness may be a hallmark of Saigon's relationships. Have to do not need to calculate, they play hard, exhaust gas, not kept together; Meet with you, you can sit in the glass all night. Perhaps many people here with the conception of "Live comfortably for pleasure and not to worry".

I often hear people call "Saigon Brother" - is to speak about the straightforward, no frivolity of the Saigon. This personality makes one more intimate, not discreet, keeping distance when in contact with each other. Here, the hope of a harmonious society, no harm is far away.

I have been to Saigon three times to experience Saigon to see more motivation, feel more meaning of life. Saigon is literally "urban urban" with all kinds of culture, education, business, entertainment ... people are swept into the continuous rotation of life, all Hurry, hurry, go running, running like a fly, people, things fast, enlist every minute, every second, race against people, machines and time.

I, like many others from faraway provinces, are eager to live, study and work in what is known as the "Pearl of the East."

I always look forward to coming to Saigon to work after completing my degree program. Sai Gon is the most open city in Vietnam so I believe that I will take advantage of the opportunity to rise up, develop more capacity, first of all develop myself, and from there. Sue family support in the distance and the people we love

Here I will introduce a bit about the city of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City before directing you to experience specific tourism in the largest city of Vietnam.

I used to compare with international friends like this

Ho Chi Minh City is one of the two largest economic, social and cultural centers in Vietnam, with Hanoi capital, Ho Chi Minh City is often associated with the bustling atmosphere, The flower of the city. Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, is a centrally-run city, which is also the city with the largest population size and urbanization speed in the country, Ho Chi Minh City. It is one of the largest cities in Vietnam.

Although history makes little mention in Vietnam but I will tell you that Ho Chi Minh City was formerly Saigon, after the end of the Vietnam War, the Communist Party renamed it Ho Chi Minh, Ho Chi Minh is the communist leader of Vietnam.

In general, because of my old house, there are half relatives in South Vietnam, so I am quite comfortable referring to Ho Chi Minh City as Saigon and moreover, Saigon was very rich and Great potential.

In general, Vietnam was split into two countries: North Vietnam and South Vietnam, like North Korea and South Korea. If Vietnam was not unified in 1975, then I think we will now have the same situation in Korea now.

I do not know how North Vietnam is as poor as North Korea, and Ho Chi Minh City is as rich as Seaul. Ha ha ha

By the way, the future is on our hands, although I do not like the Communisty Party, I still say a great thanks to add in terms of continuous effect to unite Vietnam có once again.

It is very important that Vietnam is one country, one nation, no two Vietnam.

Wow it is a good point. Because you will see that Hanoi is very different from Ho Chi Minh city.

Actually you know it: history written by the winners so I will not mention the matter again.

Let's visit Ho Chi Minh City together !!!

I have to say that the means of transport in Vietnam is not very developed, for example, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City (these are the two largest cities in Vietnam) but there is no expressway . While the Vietnamese train system still uses the old railway system from the French time, locomotives are manufactured by the Soviet Union.

So even the train ride is a bit long.

The first time I was with my mother flying from Hanoi directly to Saigon ticket expensive tickets, even about 10 million (350 usd) is now more cheaper and cheaper.

I will list below.

Nowadays, people can go to Saigon with many kinds of means such as plane, train or passenger car or personal vehicle.

Travel by flight

You can choose from many airlines such as: Vietnam Airline, Jetstar or Vietjet ... Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, Jetstar Pacific are 3 domestic airlines operating flights to Saigon. .

Especially on the main inbound flight Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City. Every day Vietnam Airlines has about 16-18 Hanoi flights to Saigon. An average of 30 minutes will be a flight, you have active time and have the best flight time for your schedule.

Viet Jet Air tickets of Hanoi Cheap airline is also an ideal choice for you. With cheap airline tickets Vietjet Air airline helps you save on the cost of your flight. VietJet Air has about 8 flights / day; On average there is one flight per hour. Jetstar Pacific has about 8 to 9 flights per day; An average of 2 hours will take a trip.

However, in my opinion, you should choose Jetstar or Vietjet cheap round-trip

Note, to book tickets cheap Hanoi Saigon you should book early, train for some discount, you pay attention to hunt cheap tickets. In order to hunt for cheap tickets, it is best to book tickets before going about 1-2 months.

Ticket price for Hanoi flight to Ho Chi Minh City:

The flight

Airline

The cheapest fare (VND) in September 2017.

Hanoi - Saigon

Vietnam Airlines 1.514.000 (57 euros)

VietJet Air 1.305.000 (50 euros)

Jetstar Pacific 1.264.000 (45 euros0

This is a one way fare, inclusive of fees and services.

In Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City there is only one airport.

In Hanoi, I have Noi Bai International Airport located 30 km from the center of Hanoi. This is an international airport in northern Vietnam. There are three domestic airlines Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, Jetstar Pacific and 22 international airlines fly to Noi Bai International Airport.

I can take a bus fare of 20 000 VND (0.7 euros to the airport) however I advise not to go by bus to the airport because a lot of Vietnamese people go to the airport without having to fly but to say farewell to the Relatives V.

Because most people in Vietnam are poor so when someone goes abroad, usually family and friends will go to the airport to say goodbye and wish them good luck.

That is why the bus will be horribly crowded.

You can take a 200,000 VND (8 euros) taxi, but be lightweight and faster.

Please note that because Noi Bai Airport is very small and many tourists are concerned, frequent airplane delays can be delayed or delayed for hours.

In particular, they also cancel the flight, so you keep in mind, people mostly fly at night so follow me you should order early morning tickets is the most convenient.

Although international airport but not modern facilities, you should eat in advance at home to the airport!

That is the airport in Hanoi, I will introduce you to the airport in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh, the airport called Tan Son Nhat built by Americans, which is a US military base in South Vietnam.

Formerly one of the largest airports in Southeast Asia, the airport is nearly 40 years old and has not been rebuilt yet.

However, because it was an American military airport, Tan Son Nhat Airport is the largest airport in Vietnam, located 8 km north of Ho Chi Minh City in Tan Binh, Tan Son Nhat is an important transportation hub of the South. From Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will take about 20 minutes by taxi to get to the city

+ If traveling by train, you should choose Thong Nhat train from Hanoi Railway Station.

Thong nhat means unification, this train began in 1975 just after the Vietnam War ended to connect North Vietnam and South Vietnam. So great!!!

The train takes about 30 hours to go from Hanoi to Saigon, depending on the type of cabin you want to choose. In general, I do not recommend that you take the train, but in return you will experience the longest train in Vietnam , behold the beautiful long white coast with white sand with mountains and rivers.

Currently, I know that the Vietnam Railway Corporation has no policy to open train tickets through agents such as air tickets, so you can only go to the station or visit the site to buy tickets. Hopefully, with the dramatic change in the management and sale of this year's tickets, children who are away from home will suffer less because they have to queue up for tickets or buy tickets at exorbitant prices.

While anxiously waiting for the sale, I will write an article to guide you how to buy train tickets online in detail so that you read once will follow immediately.

Step 1: Go to dsvn.vn or vetau.com.vn

These two pages are the official website of the Vietnam Railways Corporation, please remember to enter the correct name please.

Step 2: Select the route information to be set

Select Trip Information including: Departure, Arrival, One way (Round trip), Departure, Return date (if you want to prioritize a specific time, you choose the time). Click Search to check the ticket status.

Section Ga goes, Ga to you can type with accent, no accent, lowercase, capital letters or typing the first letter, the system is fully recognized. For example Hanoi Hieu just type hn or HN is the system suggestion right Hanoi, of course type HAN (Hanoi airport code) will not out because we are booking train tickets that hihi.

Hour: If you want to go 13h or nearby, then choose 13h, the search results will give the first choice is the closest to the hour you choose and still listed other trips of the day.

Step 3: Select the ticket to be booked

Once the system has listed the ship (s) and ticket status, it is time for you to act swiftly, precisely and wisely.
