1. They are gentle and honest farmers:

Then I visited the re-enactment of the Resistance Base, all of which made me even more impressed by the hearts and minds of our people. The staff guides us to visit each family in turn, each family has a separate lifestyle but generally all very rustic, living conditions very hard. The soldiers were born from the peasant farmers, love the village, love the land. In the village there are schools, there are radio stations, there are markets, Cu Chi is as peaceful as many other villages of Vietnam, but only there, the people have turned into heroes. They grow vegetables, pigs, fishing nets, buffalo herds, picking vegetables, catching fish, but they also dabbling, making weapons, signing their children to do the service with the river. A brave soldier force there was guarded by the patriotic spirit of the people. They are barefoot heroes.

I went to Cu Chi Tunnels by bus. It took me about 2 hours to approach Cu Chi Tunnels. In fact, Cu Chi Tunnels is about  70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. In such difficult circumstances I still see the love burning in each heart. Around the house are always vegetables, fruit trees drunk fruit, pigs, buffalo are loving care, they are also ordinary people and they also want life very normal. From within the fire, from within the bomb they still want one thing, because of that they have fought his whole life: peaceful life. From the ground there is a reading room, chess room, entertainment room for soldiers. Perhaps that optimism has given them the strength to hold on for more than 20 years.

Not only that, not only love but life flourishes in bombs. A picture of a family lit up in me a joy, a belief, that victory is inevitable because nothing can destroy life from this land. The picture shows the couple playing with their newborn baby, his wife sitting in his hammock, his husband seated next to him, happy on their faces. Their happy room is the body of a plane. It is true that nothing can bend the belief in life, nothing can destroy the intense desire of man. And exactly what President Ho Chi Minh wrote in the Declaration of Independence.
