What is it like to live in Hermosillo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in hermosillo is nice, it is not the largest or most advanced city in Mexico but it has a lot of culture and excelent food. I recommend people to live here if they don't know Mexico because you get an idea of how almost everyone lives in north Mexico.

What is the student lifestyle like in Hermosillo?

The lifestyle of a normal foraigner student here focus a lot on going out to partys, dance clubs, grills, the beach and other fun things. But is not dificult to stay on track if you only want to expand your knowledge.

How much does it cost to live in Hermosillo?

Not that much you can live a good life with just 1000 pesos per week.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Hermosillo? Is there any advice you can give?

No there is usally a lot of places you can choose if you want a rent especially for students, a good place to look is in the local newspaper is called "El imparcial".

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are a lot of good dishes in Hermosillo, you can either eat a oversized hot dog or a giant burrito we call "Percheron".You can't get tired of eathing here.

What places would you recommend visiting in Hermosillo?

The "Cerro de la campana", "Catedral" and go to a Naranjeros game.

Is it good to eat out in Hermosillo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes is good is quite normal to go out and eat in the streets, my favorite spot is miami hot dogs there you can really experience what Hermosillo food is about.

Is the nightlife good in Hermosillo? Where is good to go?

Yes is good, there are some good night clubs but where Hermosillo really shines are in house partys.

What advice would you give future students heading to Hermosillo?

Don't forget your sunscreen.
