Why did you choose to go to Helsinki, Finland?

It's a city with so many green spaces, like parks and forests, on the city. I recommend to go on spring or autumn, because is when the days are longer and the weather is not that bad. Finland in winter is so amazing and beautiful, but if you aren't used to the low temperatures it could be really hard.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Helsinki?

It's not hard to find accommodation. You can find so many shared accommodation, with other students or not.

How much does it cost to live in Helsinki?

Life is more expensive. You get used to it, but i recommend to be aware, especially with the plans outside, to not expend to much.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

All the "tourist" zone is on the center, so you can easyly visit everything in less than a week. I really recommend the websides myhelsinki.fi and welcomehelsinki.fi for information and activities.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Helsinki in the future?

Public transport is amazing! With a travel card (or day tickets) you can go wherever you want. On spring and summer time, you can also use the city bike, which i totally recommend. It's so easy to find a bus, train, metro or bike. Also, the HSL app is so usful and easy to use.
