Why did you choose to go to Helsinki, Finlandia?

New culture and different kind of education.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

5 month (in my case). 300€ per month (in my case).

What is the student lifestyle like in Helsinki?

Very easy.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Helsinki to other students?

Of course.

What is the food like?

Hahaha, no comment.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Helsinki?

No. Google maps!

How much does it cost to live in Helsinki?

Too much. It is a very expensive city.

700-800€ per month (my case)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No, very difficult language.

Yes, there are courses, but I don't recommend them.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Helsinki from your city?

Airplane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Helsinki?

Yes!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Helsinki?

Better if you buy foods and cook something tasty in your apartment. Really.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Oody Central Library. Take a look. A very different library...

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Helsinki in the future?

Travel around Finland if you can. Rovaniemi, landscapes...

Be prepare for the cold and freeze.
