Would you recommend the city and the University of Helsinki to other students?

For sure, yes.

What is the food like?

Expensive and with almost every served meal they put berries in.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Helsinki?

Had to find a private renter because I am not studying at a Helsinki University but on a Dutch one, so no organisation offers me help.

How much does it cost to live in Helsinki?

It cost about, 1500 € a month (rent: 990, food: 250, rest partying, trips, etc. ).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Finnish is very difficult.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Helsinki?

Molly Malones, Alepub, Showroom, Aussiebar.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Korkeasaari, Senaatoorri, Suomenlinna, Finnish National Museum.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Helsinki in the future?

Take a lot of money with you. The people are here reserved, but they want to be friends pretty soon. Don't mind the drunk people, they are loud but do not bother.
