Why did you choose to go to Helsinki, Finland?

I had chosen Helsinki by elimination process and was sceptical about moving there for a year. I was pleasantly surprised once I did, Finland is a beautiful country and Helsinki a great city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I come from Belgium and I study in the UK, I received a small grant from the UK government and I was given reduced tuition fees by my home university. Living costs in Helsinki are one of the highest in Europe, fortunately for students there are ways to reduce them.

What is the student lifestyle like in Helsinki?

Eat, sleep, rave, repeat.
