Because of the prestige of the university and the master is free.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

What is the student lifestyle like in Helsinki?

Organized, many discounts for students, very safe country, native people are English speaker all of them, kind and collaborative with foreigners.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Helsinki to other students?

The university is fantastic I would recommend it to everyone.

What is the food like?

They are almost vegetarian. The food is quite expensive and not very fancy, but you can find some specialities at the Arabian market.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Helsinki?

Yes, very much. It is quite difficult and the university can not accommodate all the students. In my second year I had to stay at an aparthotel for one month.

How much does it cost to live in Helsinki?

Depends if you usually go out or not. Pubs and restaurants are quite expensive, but the rent of a house includes heating, Internet, electricity and water. Transport for students is about 25 euros monthly and the menu at university is 2, 60 daily, all you can eat.

Yes, there are Finnish courses for free.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Helsinki from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Helsinki?

There are many pubs in the centre.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Helsinki?

"Konstan Molja" is a Finnish restaurant with the specialities from the country with a reasonable prize.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Suomenlinna fort, Lutheran cathedral, the harbour...

It is a very special country with a different way of living, interesting.
