Why did you choose to go to Helsinki, Finland?

Becaouse they have one of the best University for Food sciences

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

i didn't get so much money from the scholar ship, Live there is quite expensive , you need to have money because with the scholar ship is not enough. i was stay there for 1 year and the total amount it was around 2000 Euros and they don't pay me everything yet.

What is the student lifestyle like in Helsinki?

Is really good, they have a lot of event around the city for students and for everybody!! Helsinki never stop!! the atmosphere is very international! there are people from all the part of the word it was amazing to know people from different cultures. The Finnish are a bit cool everybody know that but there are very friendly in they way!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Helsinki to other students?

Absolutely !!

What is the food like?

They have commmon food , all depend about your money and about your posibilities to buy it!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Helsinki?

they have some agency , is not so complicate if you are student , but also if you have contact you car rent a flat whit your friends

How much does it cost to live in Helsinki?

Arround 900 euros per month but if you are student you have a lot of discount. i found a house for 191 euros per month , the monthly bus is around 20, you van eat in the University for 2,50 euros , diferents menus everyday.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

the course are available but the Finnish is really difficult, but all the people there speak English , everywhere

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Helsinki from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Helsinki?

everywhere with your frend and the locals ,

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Helsinki?

i never was in one!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

everywhere!! the city is not to big and is really beautifull during the winter and during the spring caffe regata! lovely cafe in the beach
