Time of my life!
The year I spent abroad in Halmstad has been absolutely amazing! I've met so many new people there and made so many friends, it's incredible! All the things you needed were organized very well, so no stress from that.
I lived in Strandparken, which in my experience was the best place to live. There were parties every week and because there were so many exchange students living together, there were always people you could have fun with. The introduction period organised by the university at the beginning of the year, Nollning, was also amazing. It was a good way to get to know your fellow exchange students as well as the local Swedish students. And I can tell you: they are crazy! (in a good way) And not to forget all the beautifull Swedish girls! It is true what they say about them. ;) It was an unforgetable experience that I would recommend to everybody!
