I would recommend it because it provides the ultimate student experience for a city of this size. The mixture of cultures is just amazing.

Biking a lot, complaining about the weather, going out a lot, socializing as much as possible and of course exams every 7 weeks
How much does it cost to live in Groningen?
Around 600 euros per month
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Groningen? Is there any advice you can give?
It is not very easy because there are a lot of incoming students every year, so start as soon as you can. August/September and January are the hardest months to find something.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
You can get all kinds of national foods there, the Dutch cuisine is not the richest one though.
What places would you recommend visiting in Groningen?
Drie Gezusters, the campus, Martini Toren, Noorderplantsoen, Hornsemeer
Is it good to eat out in Groningen? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
I'm not a fan of eating out so I can't really recommend anything, but a lot of people do go out to eat, so I guess there are nice places.
Is the nightlife good in Groningen? Where is good to go?
The night life is great, there are a lot of nice places, all in the city center, very close to each other.
What advice would you give future students heading to Groningen?
Start looking for accommodation in advance and just enjoy as much as possible because it's a great student city.
