No it is not quite difficult to find accommodation in Groningen. There are a lot of agencies who can help you with finding a room.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is not so special. A typical Gronings meal is the Mustard soup with bacon. That is my favourite dish.

What places would you recommend visiting in Groningen?

The Martine Tower, The ice skating hall, The cinema and the park Noorderplantsoen.

Is it good to eat out in Groningen? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

The restaurants in Groningen are very good and a lot of them take into account the students. So there are a lot of restaurants with a students menu, where you can eat for 10 euros with a drink.

Is the nightlife good in Groningen? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is very good. The best bars to go are the chupitos, ´t Vaatje, The snowcafe en the Toeters. The nightclubs are Kokomo and the Ocean, those are really nice..

What advice would you give future students heading to Groningen?

Make fun, make friends and party a lot. And it is nice too to go to other cities in the Netherlands, With the train in 2 hours you are in an other city.
