The restaurant Sakis

Not all pubs are open for breakfast (that's why there are coffee shops), but after 12.00, during the day they change their destination a few times. It's a particular expertise in agreement. For Lunch e type self-service. Food varied, simple and in plain view will meet with anyone. This is the time when families are to meet to an earth and a pint of beer in the city.

Pub night the changes and becomes fancy restaurant. And here's the menus are highly varied, traditional to the kitchen, to the Italian, Indian, Chinese or Thai. After dinner, leave the dance of course. Around 10pm galleys shall be closed and begin the club programs. (Weekends)

most pub, in the course of last week have troops who can sing live music Irish so experience may be full.

Don't miss the beer pint in which tastes a particularly due to total storage in the basement. The method of storage and the way in which it comes from beer cellar in pintul at the bar their total footprint on special taste. Especially if it scare you enough time wet and strong winds ... pub is making compulsory part of Irish experience.

Other two nights ago I since dined on the beach Sarakinko at Cota Christo's. You can get up here with the machine (you indicator to climb down to Sarakiniko beach), and parking is free of charge. Pub is located perfectly, within a few steps, and the tables are arranged in a generous Garden with many flowers and greenery and with view to the island Corfu. Guests also get the benefit of a swimming pool, and if you want dinner in the evening you will "receive" free of charge, a show with sunset. For that I have eaten here 2 times I "received" and the two great sunsets, one more beautiful as each other.

The menu does not have a great number of ways, but quality of preparations compensates for this. As a general rule here are prepared vehicle specific data to - souvlaki, various aperitifs with feta cheese (I recommend Saganaki and haloumi), prepared from lamb, eggplant in the oven, etc. prices are reasonable, and the natural in which serve earth makes all the money. If you reach the beach Sarakiniko, even though it would be a pity not lunch/dinner at this Pub.

The third restaurant in which we have been since we arrived, was Aegis  & Right which is located on the cliff Parga - as facing the port, the location is on the right. The tables are located both on the porch and inside - of course the most beautiful is out. You can see port and ships docking here, castle, but also offshore islet Panagia which are a small church. The menu is mediteraneean, and food is very tasty and nicely presented (plating of master-humor :) ). Prices are slightly larger but still is located within reasonable limits. House wine is also very good - in fact about all the restaurants/tavernele, wine house is generally ok, both in terms of quality and price.

Venetian Castle is, there's no doubt about it, the first objective of Pargai, visible from almost any corner of the center because of its position, perched in the top of the hill. It is a sort of local Mecca, which is the main attraction of Parga, because all eyes turned atintesc on it, paths will go to him, both of Valtos, as well as the ones in the city. I have visited him and last year and this year they without sesisez that would have changed something, Greek government's money neajungand and at him so that it can be restored. Maybe next year ...

The ruins are its high cliffs and today, with the difference that the former city venetiana is rather dangerous (attention is drawn through panels that are visiting on its own responsibility) due netezimii subrezimii walls and rocks on which you can slip at any moment, as it happened and my husband, but was it worth the risk. In any event, the view offered at any corner of the city counts, high once, and strategic, to any point around, it's great.

Initialy, in the XI-th for defense purposes against Turkish invasion and pirates, the city has been partially destroyed, but recontruita in sec. of XIII-th of venetienii Venetiene Republic. They reattached the castle and have fortified area, but two centuries later, in 1452 Parga was occupied by Turks who have partially destroyed city. Then in sec. XVI th has been reconstructed for the fourth time by venetieni as a powerful fortress, they building eight towers outside castle and two fountains to provide water in time of war. When castle, once with all over town, was sold Turks in 1813, it has been fortified again, which adds to the top, and a new building, called hamam intended for exercise of his habits that 'new' owners were dependent.

Culinary experience envisaged in Parga was limited only to these 3 restaurants/taverne, but I can say that I have tried many Greek preparations, and these locations they can recommend with all my heart to people who will spend a few days in this beautiful resort in Greece.

The restaurant Sakis

is located close to the castle at Venice, in the street that starts at the castle. One evening I was looking for a restaurant up on the hillside. I had heard that already has Two Plane.. that would command magnificent on the beach Valtos. Sakis is right next to it, and I'm glad we decided to stay at them. With the atmosphere quiet and family we won immediately. Spindly little tables are placed in the street, with blue tablecloths, in the evening light up small lanterns instead of lamps distractions.

Serving impeccable, ouzo and toast with garlic and olive oil in the house, very good food, reasonable prices (smaller than in restaurants on cliff), watermelon all of the house.

I have not eaten twice at this restaurant. For the second time already we greeted each fanatics as we stopped at the front dining room. Kindly, but not exaggerated, without being more displeasing their presence.

Prices praparatelor we tasted: mix grill (lamb chops, pork, chicken breast patties beef) for two people, with the seal, and salad (portion too high, and for two persons) - 16 euros, mousaka - 6 euros, pig meat and potatoes cook in the pot of clay - 7 euros, baklava with ice cream - 3 euro, flagon of wine 1L - 6 euro, beer Mythos - EUR 3.

Club Mango - I came here on a night when I was very tired to go further (e to 2 minutes of villa Dimas). Bar, terrace, a restaurant and a swimming pool tuners. Food was very good, prices maricele, serving is not good enough.

If someone bet Greek music I recommend between in Antico Rock Bar. Rock classic, pleasant environment, the splendid sight castle and big, big prices. Beer Amstel draft 0.5 l - 4.5 euros

is worth being discovered Tangier small because there are the best (price/quality, frequented by locals) restaurants and shops.
