Granada is the perfect place to be a student, it's not expensive, a small city (you can go wherever by foot), full of party and good weather.

What is the student lifestyle like in Granada?

The best student lifestyle ever.

How much does it cost to live in Granada?

It depends on where you live. Since 300 to 500 euros a month, no more.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Granada? Is there any advice you can give?

Not at all, but if you want to choose a good flat, you must look for it since August/September.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Mediterranean food.

What places would you recommend visiting in Granada?

San Miguel Alto, Alhambra of course, Albaicin, the countryside, Sacromonte, the Parque de las Ciencias etc.

Is it good to eat out in Granada? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

If you don't wanna cook, this is your place. Granada is full of tapas-bars to eat and drink and they are really cheap. Also, fast-food everywhere (Kebab).

Is the nightlife good in Granada? Where is good to go?

The nightlife never stops (from September to July), you can go to a pub, street, disco, every day of the week. And the city it's full of students.

The most famous place to go to drink is "Pedro Antonio", a street full of pubs with every kind of music and people and "Elvira Street".

The are nightplaces for everybody, Vogue (alternative music), Quilombo and Sala Tren (DrumnBass), BoomboomRoom and Campus (reggaeton), etc.

If you don't like discos, you can go to Albaicin or some viewpoint and have a relaxed night.

What advice would you give future students heading to Granada?

Enjoy it. And don't stay at home. Granada is for going out everytime you can. And find a partner (or more) to share a flat, it's a great experience.
