What is it like to live in Granada? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Firs of all, I am not erasmus in Granada. I am Spanish and study here because I live near.

Granada is one of the most beautiful cities of Spain, for their vibes but also for climate, people, history.... Granada enamora.

What is the student lifestyle like in Granada?

It is very funny, the best is that you can find many different styles that is, party hard, interesting conversation, a quick beer and so on. Depends of the personality that you have by the way you will discovered everything.

How much does it cost to live in Granada?

This is one of the best advantages of Granda. It's really chep, morever if you make coparison with other European cities.

An individual room goes from 90 until 200 euro (aprox). It is importat take into account if the bills are included or not because in winter with the heating the bill could increase too.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Granada? Is there any advice you can give?

In my case, although I am original from a village of Almerria, my parents have an appartament in Granada so I was never looking for accomodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

In the supermarkets you can find everything you want because there are so much supply. The ''bares'' work like: beer+tapa depend on the place the quality and the price could change but around 2. 5 euro in total.

What places would you recommend visiting in Granada?

Obviously ''la Alhambra'' and all the neighborhood of Albaicín.

Is it good to eat out in Granada? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I recommend ''La sureña'' located at Plaza de Toros. It is not exclusive from Granada because it's a franchise so you can find them around Spain but has really good realtion between quality/prices.

Is the nightlife good in Granada? Where is good to go?

It depends of you style and what you are enjoying on the party. My advice is to start on Pedro Antonio street and then get carried away.

What advice would you give future students heading to Granada?

Enjoy the time you spend on the city. Taste and try everthing, everywhere everything is possible. Try to know ''native''people, in this way your chance will open.
