Why did you decide to go to Granada in Spain?

They say it's the most beautiful Spanish city, and I believe that it's true. You can go from a place of spirituality to a place of partying in 15 minutes by foot!

For how many months did you receive the grant, and how much did you receive a month?

Around 250 euros a month.

What is the student atmosphere like in Granada?

It's a city of students, there's not a lot of pensioners like in Italy.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Granada to other students?

Absolutely.

What's the food in Granada like?

Pretty good, it's the Mediterranean diet.

Has it proved difficult finding accommodation in Granada?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Granada?

For a room, food and extras, it comes to around 600 euros a month.

How do you find learning Spanish? Have you attended any language courses at the University?

I learnt the most from friends I know here, not a lot at the moment as I'm quite reserved.

What's the cheapest way of getting to Granada from where you live?

A flight to Malaga and then, a coach.

Which places would you recommend going out to in Granada?

A local tapas place, with 2 euros, you can eat and drink.

I always change where I go, because apart from drinks, everywhere does tapas of some sort.

Which cultural sights are good to visit?

The Alhambra, the Albaicin area, the entire centre and the Cathedral.

Any advice you'd offer to future students coming to Granada?

Even if it costs a little more, get accommodation in the centre, then you don't have to get take the bus or get a taxi.
