Why did you choose to go to Granada, Spain?

Because it was closer to the city where I have family and because it seems to be a beautiful city with history.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am here for one year.

I have diferent grants such as my régional grant (CROUS), Erasmus grant, the AMI grant and BRMI.

What is the student lifestyle like in Granada?

One word: GREAT. I am not a person who goes out partying frequently but here there are so much things to do.. we can go everywhere on feet, there are good tapas and restaurant...

Would you recommend the city and the University of Granada to other students?

Indeed, venga!

What is the food like?

Just super. Go tapas! Drink sangría, mojito y cerveza!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Granada?

I sought very early from France thanks to former students of my university. Check the website idealista.

How much does it cost to live in Granada?

I pay 260€ all included on shared apartment (it IS one of the cheapest one), other pay like 300€ and next you have to pay the water, the light or 600€ if you have your own apartment.

The good is cheap and go out to party too.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes there are several language courses proposed and certification (in English, Spanish... )

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Granada from your city?

By flight and next by bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Granada?

Camborio, Mae West.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Granada?

Biggies, TGB, Minautoro, bella y la bestia, el origen, el babel, El riffeña, las teterías and so much more!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Alhambra, la Madraza, la catedral con los reyes, parque de las ciencias.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Granada in the future?

Do not hesitate! Come and enjoy!

Moreover, there are several organisation that propose travel tours/trip to the region, the country and other such as Portugal, ane even Marocco! It is very cheap.
