Why did you choose to go to Granada, Spain?

My Erasmus coordinator offered me to take this city. And all of my Spanish friends told me that Granada is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain and that I shouldn't miss the opportunity to visit it or even better to study in Granada.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received 1700 euros for one semester.

What is the student lifestyle like in Granada?

In Granada there are a lot of student organization which organize a lot of events and every day you just don't know which event you should choose. Sometimes it look like a spam.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Granada to other students?

Of course, Granada is a very beautiful city and student life is awesome, but also studying at UGR is hard because you have classes with normal students and professors don't take into account that you are an Erasmus student. But on the other hand classes are very interesting.

What is the food like?

Typical Spanish food. Don't know what should I write more.

How much does it cost to live in Granada?

It depends on where you live. I live in the city center and I pay 245 euros.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

University offers a language course which costs 150 euros for 3 months, twice a week for 3 hours. And if you pass the final exam you will receive six credits for your studies.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Granada from your city?

From Prague to Málaga by plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Granada?

If you like discos then you can choose among Mae West, Camborio, Boom Boom Room. If you don't like discos just go to botellón.
