Why did you choose to go to Granada, Spain?

When I started learning Spanish, we used a book that centered on a girl that went to Granada and I was curious.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I'm going to be here 6 months, from the 28th of January to sometime in June.

The money question is a hard one since I get paid by my government and i have the Erasmus scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Granada?

With the other Erasmus it's amazing, with the Spanish/locals not so much.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Granada to other students?

Hell yes!

What is the food like?

Amazing and varied.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Granada?

I used Erasmusu to find an accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Granada?

It really depends on where you live and how much you party and travel. For example, my room in a shared apartment in the centre is 280 € a month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Spanish itself is hard, but the Andalusian accent takes a while to get used to.

There aren't any courses at the university directly, but at a language school connected with it... however, you have to pay for it.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Granada from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Granada?

  • Tuesday: pub legend
