I study Hispanic studies and I wanted to improve my Spanish.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
A semestre for 6 months and €280 a month.

Yes!

It's very good, my favourite thing was the free tapas they give you with a drink.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Granada?
No, I saw a website, I called them up and I found my place the same day.
How much does it cost to live in Granada?
It depends on what kind of flat you want to live in. I'm in quite an expensive flat, costing €350 a month, there are much cheaper flats.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the university?
I didn't attend any courses, because I study Spanish, but sometimes it's quite hard to follow the Andalusian dialect.

By plane to Malaga and then by bus (ALSA) to Granada.
Where would you recommend for a night out in Granada?
Mae West, Granero, El Camborio.

Babel, Fresc Co
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The Alhambra, of course, and the views from Albaicín.
Do you have any advice for students coming to Granada in the future?
Don't get a shock, it gets very cold at night time, even in summer! But the weather isn't the most important thing (and it's hot in the day time), I had a great time on Erasmus here.
