Areas with "a lot going on" in the city of Granada

Hey! I've got a question to ask. I'm a recently graduated student, and I'm about to start work experience (Erasmus+) in a language school. My question is this: I've never been to Granada before, and I don't know the central streets/areas, so finding them is pretty difficult.

I'd consider the possibility of not living in the centre, but in more "lively" areas, where there are bars and such. If anyone could help me out by letting me know of any of these areas wherever they are, in order to help me get my bearings better? Thanks a lot!
