ESN blog

I was a exchange student in Brussels for an academic year. I studied at the university and went on a journey to improve my oral French skills and to study the same field, but different subjects at my home university.

I was prepared to make it difficult for Belgians to find out and that the aliens would rotate mostly with each other and it did not become very big. The university and the city were forced to talk to France, however, that the language was luckily taught. Also, I was happy with my exchange university, which was familiar with exchange students and paperwork and the course choices went smoothly.

I fell in love with the Spanish and Latin American culture courses and got great grades. Everything was, therefore, really better than it did, no problems with the apartment (except in winter, when it was quite cold inside because the landlord patted in the heating of the apartment. Besides the house, there were strange tenants who, for example, burned inside or cooked the scent) and I got some roommate friends.

In addition, Brussels is a very international city full of people from all over Europe, where one day they could speak English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Swedish.

On the other hand, the fact that there was always someone coming or going, made it difficult to get friends.

The hand was a certificate of exchange, a better French and nice memories, and if you do not feel good now, at least let your nice friends do, even if you do not miss Brussels anymore.
