Why did you choose to go to Glasgow, United Kingdom?
I wanted to improve my English and I already went to Scotland and really liked it.
Moreover Scottish people are very friendly.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
One year.
Around 200 euros per month maybe less.
What is the student lifestyle like in Glasgow?
Good , many parties, many foreign students.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Glasgow to other students?
Not the city for people who are used to huge towns like Paris or London because Glasgow is a small city. But if you are not used to big towns, Glasgow is a good city.
What is the food like?
Not good at all. It doesn't correspond to the French one.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Glasgow?
No because I have an accommodation within the university
How much does it cost to live in Glasgow?
Less than 700 euros with the food and the accommodation
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
At the begin a little hard because Scottish have a strong accent, but you become used to it. Yes I study Italian in my university
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Glasgow from your city?
The easiest is the plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Glasgow?
Pub, night club or theatres.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Glasgow?
A very famous Italian restaurant in George square.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The museum in Glasgow green, kelvingrove museum , the west end.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Glasgow in the future?
Glasgow is well situated to travel around Scotland and the north of England.
