Why did you choose to go to Gijon, Spain?

Because it is amazingly beautiful.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship is 4 mounth,and I got 550euros/mounth.

What is the student lifestyle like in Gijon?

It is kind of free but serious, if you come here you have to learn.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Gijon to other students?

Yes, I recommend this univeristy and city for every erasmus student!

What is the food like?

There is a lot of sea food but you can cook your own food as well.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Gijon?

230euros/mounth approx. With bills.

How much does it cost to live in Gijon?

Well if you do not go out a lot you can live from 500euros/mounth and you have to cook for your self as well.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes there are, but not for begginers, I suggest to learn some spanish before ypu come here.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Gijon from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Gijon?

There are a lot of clubs here you can find yours easily.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Gijon?

There are a lot of tapas bars the food is good there and cheap.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Culbs and bars:D

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Gijon in the future?

Learn spanish before you come to Spain.
