Why did you choose to go to Ghent, Belgium?

Honestly because it was the last one left, but if I could choose again I would do the same choice.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

5 months (not enough). 230€/m (not enough if you consider that only the rent of the dorms costs 390€/m).

What is the student lifestyle like in Ghent?

In Gent you has all that a student needs.. from the morning to the night.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ghent to other students?

Absolutely! Gent is amazing. I will pay you 1000€ if you find me someone who can deny that.

What is the food like?

I'm italian, I'm used too well. but the food isn't the best thing in Gent.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ghent?

No, it didn't.

How much does it cost to live in Ghent?

It's quite expensive like every big city but you can find some cheaper supermarket. (Delhaize, Aldi, Lidl)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Dutch is impossible to understand by an italian. Anyway you really don't need that because everybody knows english tongue.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ghent from your city?

Ryanair to Charleroi Airport. - Bus (5€) to Charleroi Train Station - Train (Gopass) to Gent Sint Pieters Station.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ghent?

Overpoort during the week. Charlatan and Cultur Club in the weekend.

Pizzera Adriatico, Amadeus, Colmar

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The castle, the tower, many museums.
