I have never been in Belgium and I wish to see Belgium.

My scholarship is 410€.

What is the student lifestyle like in Gent?

Student lifestyle is great in Gent because Gent is a city with many students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Gent to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

For me, food bad and expensive. This is the reason why many students cook.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Gent?

Yes. I pay dorm 405€ per month.

How much does it cost to live in Gent?

Life in Ghent is too expensive. I spend 1000€ per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yey. If you want you can go on Dutch language courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Gent from your city?

I am from Croatia and the easiest way to travel was by airplane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Gent?

I suggest that students go to Overpoort. This is the place with may clubs and restoraunts.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Gent?

I don't know, but student restaurants are okay.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Many amazing churches and catedrales.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Gent in the future?

Rent a bike in Gent.
