Tourism in Georgia

Tourism is becoming more and more popular every day. The economy of some countries exists only on the tourism industry.

If we rebuilt St Mark's Square in Italy or Notre-Dame de Paris, then we wouldn't be able to say that these are truly historic monuments. Because these buildings wouldn't preserve the essence of the old days any longer. Remarkable historic places are ruined by a real flood of people that go to visit them every day.

The other problem of tourism is that it gets most of a country's income. As a result, other industries cannot develop properly. Sometimes countries not only use up their natural resources to support the growing tourism industry, but they also deprive the local population of which is rightfully theirs.

In conclusion, tourism is a huge profit for a country, but one should also be aware of its disadvantages and contribute to overcoming them.
