Khevsureti
Georgia is a wonderful country if you ask me. It may be small, but its landscapes are fascinating and that is why tourists love travelling here.
Khevsureti is one of the places in Mountainous Georgia. It is located in the north part of the country and is resided by mountain people, we call them Khevsurians.
There are some well-known places in Khevsureti and if you go there, the very first thing you should do is visit these sites. They are: Shatili, Mutso, Datvijvari Pass.
Going from Tbilisi _ the capital of Georgia, the first place you see is the Datvijvari Pass. it is 2767 meters high. There is a bell high up there and the view from there is just breathtaking.
You can see vast valleys down and you may look at them forever without getting bored. To my mind, this is a perfect site for painters to take their painting kits and paint.
The second place is Shatili.
This is a medieval fortress, which consists of sixty towers which cluster together and make a single fortress. It is approximately 1400 meters high and is made of stone and mortar. Walking there deep inside this fortress, the very thing that amazes one is the architecture; the stones are very beautiful. And there is a river flowing just about hundred meters away and its water is so cold and transparent one can see stones at the bottom of it.
And the third place is Mutso. It is a village high up at 1880 meters. It is almost completely abandoned more than a century ago. The village architecture is astonishing and the view from up there just reminded me of the phrase: "the world is mine" from the famous song "The World Is Mine" by DJ David Guetta.
