The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine.

In this article i want to tell you about the Easter in Georgia and the traditions on Easter, because every country has their own traditions and Georgia is not excluded from that list either, of course.

Well, to be honest, there are lots of traditions and since easter is one of the most important holidays of the year, it's really significant holiday for Georgian people and everyone just looks forward to Easter, because of so many reasons and those reasons are individual, too, of course.

To tell you the truth, you should live in Georgia to get what it's like to be looking forward to Easter. I know, that there are so many people here just impatiently waiting for Easter and they don't really wait that way for the New Year or Christmas, if you want to know the truth.

About Easter

Well, of course, everyone knows about Easter, however, there are some differences about Easter in Catholic and Orthodox churches and you can see some differences yourself, of course. To be honest, I don't really know much about the Easter traditions in Catholic church, however, I know, that most of the times the Easters doesn't match, because sometimes Catholic Easter comes earlier than the Orthodox one. And this year, the Catholic Easter was on the 1st of April andthe Orthodox Easter is on the 8th of April now.
