What is it like to live in Ghent? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It's a very beautiful city with lots of students. There's always something going on.
What is the student lifestyle like in Ghent?
The typical student parties are on Wednesday and Thursday in the Overpoortstraat. In the weekend you can go to the city centre where there are a lot of nice bars with live music.
How much does it cost to live in Ghent?
It's more expensive than in Spain. Especially the prices to rent a room are rather high in Ghent. There are lots of student restaurants and bars where you can eat or drink for little money.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ghent? Is there any advice you can give?
Not difficult but you have to be fast.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Spaghetti is very good in the restaurants. Pizza's are very cheap in the Overpoortstraat. The best spareribs can you eat in Amadeus. If you want eat in a restaurant, you can find lots of them in the city centre. The prices will be higher.
