Because it combines high-grade education with enjoyable environment (culture, party, landscapes, architecture).

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I do not have a scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Geneva?

Great. Many students from different cultures. Lot of activities.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Geneva to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

International and typical Swiss.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Geneva?

Yes. The housing is a major problem in Geneva.

How much does it cost to live in Geneva?

It is expensive. The taxes for the University are less compared to the UK, but housing is expensive. The food and drinks in bars are also expensive, otherwise in the big supermarkets, the prices are reasonable.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I studied French in highschool, but virtually everyone knows English. However french is difficult, but there are language courses at university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Geneva from your city?

By airplane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Geneva?

It depends but there are many cool places in the old city for example.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Geneva?

In Pâquis, there are quite good restaurants, typical Swiss and international (Indian, Ethiopian etc. )

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The UN, the cathedral and many museums of classical and contemporary art.
