Seafest

Seafest is an event that happens in Galway over a weekend in the Summer months. It is a national maritime festival which helps promote the wealth of the ocean. Events include cooking demonstrations, tours of ships and vessels, educational and fun exhibitions on marine life. Tall ships, marine vessels, Galway hookers (boats) and yachts surround the docks.

Last year there was a fun atmosphere there on the docks in Galway city for all ages. It endeavours to promote engaement and awareness of the sea. It is a fun-filled weekend for all.
