How much does it cost to live in Frankfurt am Main?

Frankfurt am Main is one of the most expensive cities in Germany regarding living costs. Especially rents went up a lot over the past years.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Frankfurt am Main? Is there any advice you can give?

I can’t give any advice other than searching, searching, searching. Accommodations in Frankfurt are very hard to find but eventually you will get lucky. You can also look at accommodations in Offenbach or other cities around Frankfurt since the infrastructure and train lines are really good and you can find accommodations in Offenbach which are actually just a 15 minute train ride away from university!

What places would you recommend visiting in Frankfurt am Main?

Especially in the summer it is really nice to just chill out on the waterside promenade or visit the Palmengarten which is basicallyan exibition of rare plants.

Is the nightlife good in Frankfurt am Main? Where is good to go?

In general, a lot of night clubs are located in Alt Sachsenhausen, there are streets where there are multiple clubs next to each other.
