What is it like to live in Flagstaff? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is very small and mostly made up up university students. There are some places downotn that are a fun time for 21 and over. The weather is pleasant and the winter time is also very nice the people are helpful and kind.

What is the student lifestyle like in Flagstaff?

Being a student in Flagstaff is nice. The university offers lots of help to students through tutoring and programs. Living on campus is a bonus but very pricey. Living off campus has some perks but even more pricey.

How much does it cost to live in Flagstaff?

I shared an apartment with two other girls. I had my own room. I paid about $560 in rent money and that does not include utilities.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Flagstaff? Is there any advice you can give?

I would check Facebook pages where people post availability. People tend to leave before their lease is up and will be willing to hand it over to someone else.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There is not a lot of diverse options for cuisine.

What places would you recommend visiting in Flagstaff?

Everywhere. Wherever you go it's beautiful. Snow bowl is very popular for skiing and snowboarding and the Griffith observatory is amazing and known for discovering Mars.

Is it good to eat out in Flagstaff? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I do not eat out much in Flagstaff I prefer to cook but most people around me get food delivered off from various places.

Is the nightlife good in Flagstaff? Where is good to go?

I have not experienced the night life in Flagstaff.

What advice would you give future students heading to Flagstaff?

Be prepared for different temperatures and the highest altitude in Arizona. Ask as many questions as you need to feel adequately prepared for school work or social life!
