You can find different types of food, from different cultures like Chinese food like the "Hot pot", Turka like the Döner, Arabic which is my favorite, I love the "Shawarma", you can also find Indian, American, Italian and much more.

The university gives a free course, once a week for 4 hours. So I recommend you make the most of it.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Essen?
I recommend going to Almidan Aldimaschki, an Arab restaurant, and the Five Guys.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Essen in the future?
There are many foreigners in Essen who strive to achieve their goals in the city or to return home, so I advise you to make the most of your experience in the city and to come with all the desire to study.
